📦 Live Houseplant Shipping Policy & Info
1. How We Prepare Your Plants for Travel
We take extra steps to ensure your green friends arrive safe and sound. Every plant is thoroughly inspected before shipping. We secure the soil to prevent spilling, wrap the nursery pot to retain appropriate moisture, and use protective material to insulate the foliage against movement.
2. Our Shipping Schedule (Why We Don't Ship Every Day)
To ensure your plants never spend a weekend sitting in a dark, stagnant courier warehouse, we only ship live plants on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
Orders placed after [Day of Week, e.g., Wednesday at 12 PM] will ship the following Monday.
We highly recommend choosing Express / 2-Day Shipping at checkout to minimize transit time and stress on the plants.
3. 🌡️ Extreme Weather Alerts (Heat & Cold)
Plants are sensitive to extreme temperatures.
Winter Shipping: If your local daytime temperatures are below 40°F (4°C), you must add a Heat Packto your order at checkout. We cannot guarantee live arrival for plants shipped to freezing climates without a heat pack.
Weather Holds: If extreme heat (above 90°F) or severe winter storms are forecasted along the shipping route, we may temporarily hold your shipment for a few days to protect the plants. We will email you immediately if your order is delayed for weather safety.
4. What to Expect Upon Arrival
It is completely normal for a plant to experience minor "transit shock." When you unbox your plant, it may look a little droopy, have a yellow leaf, or have a small amount of loose soil in the box.
Immediate Care: Unbox your plant immediately. Give it a thorough watering if the soil feels dry, and place it in a spot with bright, indirect light.
5. Our Live Arrival Guarantee
We guarantee that your plants will arrive alive! If a plant arrives dead or severely damaged beyond saving, we will happily send a replacement or issue a store credit.
To qualify for a replacement, you must:
Contact us within 24 hours of the tracking timestamp showing "Delivered."
Email lokeorbs88@gmail.com with your order number.
Attach clear, well-lit photos of the damaged plant and the shipping box.
